GOLDEN FISH, AFRICAN FISH - Ali Orhun Köseoğlu
GOLDEN FISH, AFRİCAN FİSH
The Golden Fish African Fish documentary film that we watched in our TVJ 367 course attracted my attention. It was the one I liked the most among the documentary films I have watched so far, and this was the first documentary film that I watched with emotion while watching. Because in the documentary film we watch, we see the help of a rescue ship to the refugees and also to the victims of the boat. We even witnessed the speeches of those refugees during the documentary film. We have also seen that each of them has different reasons to escape their country. Employees on the rescue ship continued their aid not only to the sea but also to the land, and they went to Senagal, which country with economic problems and financial poverty, and tried to continue their help there. This was an aid in the form of food aid to the poor and hungry people. What I could not see and believe in this documentary film was that in such a materialist world, human values still have not disappeared.
As I mentioned above, while finishing my words; This documentary film once again reminded me of how important it is to help. In other words, it helped me to be more sensitive to the people around us, to be satisfied with our own lives, and to reconstruct my awareness of being thankful for everything we have.
